2021
IN
YEAR
A Note from our Founders
2021 was a year of reflection and action for many of us. At Revolve Impact, 2021 was the year where we accomplished more than we ever imagined. Facing the COVID-19 crisis, the fight for our collective liberation and the glaring inequities laid bare by both, our agency addressed some of the biggest challenges of our times. It became more apparent than ever before that our work is crucial in supporting the health and safety of our communities. Culture, music, and sports have always been central to our identity as a country, and we utilized these vehicles to address the most critical issues of our times.
We’re proud of the incredible work we were able to do last year with our partners from across the country – check out some of our highlights below!

2021 HIGHLIGHTS
Human Rights Now!
Given the current political crisis that includes the mass deportation of tens of thousands of Haitian migrants, Revolve Impact partnered with RFK Human RIghts to honor Gureline Jozef, Executive Director of the Haitian Bridge Alliance, with the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award. The day included a curated border delegation into Tijuana, Mexico, followed by the award presentation and performance by Wyclef Jean outside of Otay Mesa Immigrant Prison, one of the deadliest prisons in America.

#SchoolsNotPrisons raises awareness on and action around the intersection of criminal justice and education. Last year, we created more than 500 pieces of original content, reaching over 50 million people. In 2021, we also partnered with the Los Angeles Community Action Network (LA CAN), the leading anti-poverty organization in Los Angeles, to launch #HomesNotPrisons, a campaign to decriminalize houselessness. Alongside hip-hop legend Warren G, we kicked off the campaign with a cookout, providing 500 hot meals to the Skid Row community.
