CLIENT: THE MARGARET FUND
Along with the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative, National Women’s Law Center, Women’s Sports Foundation, and other key youth and community leaders, Revolve Impact created Demand IX, a nationwide campaign to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX and support ongoing efforts to protect, strengthen, and enforce Title IX. The campaign coordinated efforts of individual Title IX Anniversary projects into one aspirational movement that educated the public on the impact and importance of Title IX while providing opportunities for public participation.

On October 29th, we held the #SchoolsNotPrisons: We Are LA music festival to unite people and take back our city. Music is a power-building tool, and our goal was to remind Los Angeles and the rest of the country that the labor of our Black and Brown communities has always fueled progressive change. The concert also promoted civic engagement as L.A. voters decided on critical region wide and national elections, including members of Congress, Mayor, Sheriff, and other important offices. The lineup included Compton-born and raised El Compa Negro, Highland Park’s own, Reverie, Jason Chu, The Tiarras, PAMÉ, headliner IDK, and more.

#WEAREBG
Athletes for Impact, a program of Revolve Impact, played a critical role in #WeAreBG, a global campaign that successfully brought WNBA superstar Brittney Griner home after being wrongfully imprisoned in Russia for nearly 10 months. On December 8, 2022, Brittney finally came home due to the incredible community of supporters who refused to stop fighting for her freedom. Today, #WeAreBG continues as a coalition advocating for other Americans detained overseas.

As a result, we administered 130,413 vaccines and scheduled 28,660 vaccine appointments. We also provided 313,796 community resources and essential support services.

#EndTitle42
CLIENT: COMMUNITIES UNITED FOR STATUS AND PROTECTION (CUSP)
In collaboration with the Haitian Bridge Alliance and Communities United for Status and Protection, a collaborative of national grassroots immigrant organizations, Revolve Impact created End Title 42, a campaign to end the Trump-era immigration policy that prevents refugees and migrants from entering the United States. Introduced under the guise of public health at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Title 42 has prevented over one million asylum seekers from entering the U.S., disproportionately affecting Black migrants and trapping them along the U.S.-México border.

CLIENT: THE CALIFORNIA ENDOWMENT
In partnership with the U.S. Surgeon General’s Office and The California Endowment, the Youth Wellness Now! Summit was born out of the necessity to address youth mental health as an emergency health crisis. Held in downtown Los Angeles on June 14th & 15th, the Summit created an opportunity for 400 young people to inform and fundamentally transform the structure, conditions, and culture of youth-serving systems. At the Summit, we convened key philanthropic, health, and education partners, community leaders, content creators, and influencers to hear directly from young people about promising and innovative community and youth-driven solutions.

CLIENT: OTHERING & BELONGING INSTITUTE
In collaboration with the Othering & Belonging Institute, Los Angeles Community Action Network, and Stop LAPD, we created the “No Community Safety Policing” campaign to educate the public on how the origins of community policing are rooted in U.S. military combat operations tested in Iraq and Afghanistan. Learning from the military, the LAPD has a long and brutal history of police surveillance, police violence, and harm. Through an interactive campaign that included an originally produced video and digital campaign, the purpose of the campaign was to activate discussions and learning both locally and beyond Los Angeles.
